Why jump for us?
Cats Protection is the UK’s leading cat welfare charity and through our volunteer networks of branches and adoption centres we care for over 6000 cats and kittens at any one time. The average cost of caring for a cat or kitten is £180 and they will stay with us for as long as it takes to find them loving home we never put a healthy cat to sleep. Our work is only made possible by the generosity of donations and fundraising.About Us
From humble beginnings in 1927, Cats Protection has grown to become the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. We now help around 200,000 cats and kittens every year through our network of over 250 volunteer-run branches, 29 adoption centres and two homing centres. Our work doesn’t stop there, however: we also provide an array of cat care information via our publications, website and Helpline; promote the benefits of neutering to prevent unwanted litters from being born and becoming the abandoned cats of tomorrow and seek to educate people of all ages about cats and their care.
