Overview
Skydiving at Tilstock requires participants to meet specific physical and medical criteria to ensure the safety of all jumpers. The requirements vary depending on whether you are undertaking a Tandem Skydive or enrolling in our AFF (Accelerated Freefall) Solo Training Course. Please review the appropriate section below and contact us on 01948 841111 if you have any questions regarding your eligibility.
Tandem Skydiving Requirements
Age Restrictions
- Minimum Age: 16 years old
- Maximum Age: 70 years old
- Participants under 18 years of age must provide written consent from a parent or guardian (British Skydiving Form 106)
- Participants aged 70 or over must attend a pre-booking assessment at the centre and obtain Form 115b signed by their General Practitioner
Weight and Height Requirements
The maximum weight limit for Tandem Skydiving is 15 stone (95 kg), however, this must be proportionate to your height. Weight restrictions exist for safety reasons, as they affect parachute performance and landing dynamics.
